| Aims |
| The purpose of this course is to prepare pilots and aircrew for travel by Aircraft and to successfully escape from a variety of emergency situations if an Aircraft ditches into water using Emergency Breathing System (EBS). |
| Outcomes |
- Describe the pre-boarding, boarding, in flight and disembarkation procedures.
- State the different types of emergencies and describe the likely ditching and emergency landing scenarios.
- Demonstrate the evacuation process including donning aviation lifejackets, use of escape routes and exits, and the operation of onboard emergency equipment.
- Sea Survival Techniques, Heat Escape Lessening Position (HELP), Survival Line and Circle, Hypothermia and Hyperthermia, use of the Aviation life raft.
- Demonstrate, evacuation from an Aircraft following a ditching on land.
- Demonstrate, Dry evacuation from an Aircraft ditched on water to an aviation life raft.
- Demonstrate, escape through an exit underwater, from a partially submerged aircraft.
- Demonstrate, evacuation techniques in a variety of scenarios from an aircraft and inflate the Aviation-lifejacket and EBS
- Slow lower METS sinking upright
- Fast lower METS sinking upright
- Slow lower METS rolling 45 degrees left
- Fast lower METS rolling 45 degrees left
- Slow lower METS rolling 45 degrees right
- Fast Lower METS rolling 45 degrees right.
- Describe, the physics of the EBS.
- Demonstrate, the safe operation of the EBS equipment.
- Demonstrate, EBS clearing procedures.
- Demonstrate correct evacuation from a ditched aircraft using EBS.
- Demonstrate, correct technique when climbing a rescue scramble net.
- Demonstrate, Correct technique for Aircraft Underwater Patient/Casualty Extraction

| The duration of the course is Three (3)-days. The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait. Using classroom facilities and the Megamas Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS) MODEL 30 |
