FA-3 Basic Life Support - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved


 
Aims To give the participants basic skills and knowledge to maintain life until the arrival of the ambulance or medical professionals.
Outcomes
  • understand legal issues and infection control
  • describe principles of first aid
  • place a casualty in the recovery position
  • understand the respiratory system
  • understand the circulatory system
  • apply Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and oxygen administration
  • understand the management of external bleeding
  • understand infant resuscitation “if required” 
Location and Duration The duration of the course is 3-hrs The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait.
