| Designed for those interested and required to understand and perform Internal Audits of Safety & Security Management Systems for ships based on the requirements of the ISM & ISPS Code. Additionally, this course will allow the participants to refresh their knowledge of the Codes and further develop a more practical approach to the interpretation and implementation of regulations from the ship’s perspective. | |
| This course provides knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Company Security Officer (CSO). At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a CSO and in dealing with circumstances onboard in matters related to security. | |
| This course is meant to provide a systematic and comprehensive training to persons appointed, preparing to be appointed and wishing to be appointed as the D.P.A in a ship owning or ship management company, in line with the requirements of the ISM Code. At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a D.P.A and in dealing with any out of the ordinary circumstances onboard in matters related to safety and pollution prevention. | |
| The course is to provide education and training to meet
the standard of competence as specified in Regulation II / 4 of the
International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and
Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) 1978, as amended in 1995, and U.K.
Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) Marine Guidance Notes (MGN) 97,
(Training and Certification Guidance, Part 10 – Ratings) | |
| To provide a focused, in-depth knowledge in on-site 1st
oil spill response operations. The course concentrates on the skills
and tools needed to actively respond to an oil spill at the supervisory
level. | |
| The IMO Level 2 Course focuses on the operational
management of an oil spill. It is directed at the On-Scene Commander
and supports him/her in co-ordinating and managing a response. | |
| The IMO Level 3 Course focuses on the role of the Incident & Deputy Incident Commander. | |
| To ensure that on completion of the course the candidate
will meet the minimum standard of competence to survive at sea in the
event of ship abandonment in accordance with International Maritime
Organisation (IMO) STCW’95 code A-VI/1-1. This is an Internationally
recognised course, approved by the Brunei Department of Marine | |
| This course provides knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a PFSO and in dealing with circumstances in the port in matters related to security. | |
| This course provides knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Ship Security Officer (SSO). At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a SSO and in dealing with circumstances onboard in matters related to security. | |
| This course is meant to provide a systematic and comprehensive training to OSV Masters, as well as Chief Officers preparing or wishing to be appointed as the Master onboard. At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a Master and in dealing with any out of the ordinary circumstances onboard in matters related to every aspect of shipboard operations. As an added value to the training, certain oil major requirements will be made as reference to the participants. | |
| On completion of the course the candidate will meet the
minimum standard of competence in giving appropriate / immediate or
management action upon encountering an accident or other medical
emergency in accordance with A-V/1-3 of the STCW Code. | |
