Megamas Training Company - PTW-1 Permit to Work for Worksite Supervisors

Aims

The course prepares participants as competent PTW Worksite Supervisors (WSS) by providing knowledge of the PTW system and practical experience of the management of hazards and the operation of the system.

Outcomes

state why a PTW system is necessary,
locate information in the PTW procedure manual,
use a Hazard Checklist as an aid to worksite preparation,
originate and carry out WSS actions on each type of Permit,
review completed PTW documents for errors,
check that isolation boundaries are correctly secured and recorded,
prepare and deliver a toolbox talk,
list the steps in the lifecycle of a permit,
state the checks required by the WSS at each change of status of the permit,
state the requirements for appointment as a PTW Worksite Supervisor.

The duration of the course is 2-days The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait.
