OFF-15 Tropical EBS – OPITO approved


	Aims	To prepare the individual for offshore travel by helicopter and for the associated emergency response procedures.
	Outcomes	Be able to demonstrate practically: Donning of an aviation lifejacket and Emergency Breathing System Operation and use of Emergency Breathing System Equipment (EBS) during pool exercise. Actions in preparation for a helicopter ditching & an emergency landing. Note: This course is approved by the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation, UK.
	Content	A controlled emergency descent to a dry landing (without deploying EBS) A controlled ditching on water (including deployment of EBS equipment) Operation of a realistic exit mechanism A partial submersion of an aircraft (deploying EBS equipment) and operation of a push out window A capsize of an aircraft (deploy and operate EBS equipment) including operation of a push out window
	Location and Duration	The duration of the course is 1/2-day The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait.
