Abrasive wheels (Grinding and Cutting)

Aims

The purpose of this course is to advise delegates on how to prevent accidents in the use and mounting of abrasive wheels. It does not enter into technical aspects of grinding or operational techniques. Each delegate will be provided with a comprehensive workbook

Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

Identifying potential hazards associated with Abrasive Wheels
Read markings for abrasive wheels as to type and speed
Store, handle and transport abrasive wheels properly
Inspection. Testing and checking for damage
Assembling and dressing
Work Equipment Regulations

Location and Duration

The duration of the course is ½ (half-a day). The course is a mixture of both theory and practical. The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait or any suitable clients premises.
