Aims

To provide BLO by developing both knowledge and practical skills in particular, giving them the confidence to intervene when they observe unsafe condition and unsafe acts during boat transfer activities.

Outcomes

Describe the role of BLO
Maintain a state of readiness for boat landing
Carry out landing deck inspection
Prepare for boat arrival – know ETA from control / administration room
Embarkation and disembarkation of passengers
Loading and unloading hand baggage and freight
Supervise boat arrival and departure
Supervise of loading and unloading passengers, baggage and freight
Manage Man Overboard

Location and Duration

The duration of the course is 1/2-day The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait.
