Facilities

Megamas is accredited with ISO 9001:2000, and is an OPITO approved Training and Assessment Centre. The area covers 15 acres and the facilities comprise of the following:

• Ten fully complemented air-conditioned classrooms with full multi-media capability
• Cafeteria with seating for 120 persons ensuring participants comfort is given prime consideration.
• A complete sea survival training simulator comprising of swimming pool, wave ball, basket and swing rope transfer simulators, and step-off platforms.
• The latest METS Model 30 / HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Trainer) configured to any Offshore Operator, Military, Commercial or Private sectors for simulating any aircraft exit.
• Lifeboat Launching Facility, onsite at our riverside, comprising of simulated muster station, operational lifeboat, davit and winch.
• Fireground able to simulate many varied firefighting situation, including: Helicopter firefighting, indoor firefighting, and Search and Rescue exercises. All the fireground props incorporate the latest "cleanburn" technology to satisfy concern on environmental requirements.
• Confined space entry simulator used for effective permit to work courses and confined space rescue situations.
• Skid pan to simulate wet roads during Defensive Driving courses
