FIRST AID (ST JOHN AMBULANCE, AUSTRALIA) Approved
In the event that a someone becomes injured it is vital that the injured party receives First Aid treatment as soon as possible. Megamas offer a range of First Aid courses which can teach you how to save lives.
Calling 991 or sending someone to hospital is
NOT
enough to save someone's life. Most of the time he/she is brought in dead.
FA-1 Apply First Aid Training - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To give participants the skills and knowledge of basic first aid needed to be able to deal with the injuries most likely to occur in everyday life. Upon successful completion of practical and theory assessment a certificate of competency is issued, valid for 3 years.
FA-13 Workplace First Aid - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
For the participants to be competent in resuscitation and the management of shock, bleeding and burns. Upon successful completion of a practical and theory assessment a certificate of competency is issued, valid for three years.
FA-14 Basic Resuscitation - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To give the participants basic skills and knowledge to maintain life until the arrival of the ambulance or medical professionals. Understand the legal issues and infection control
FA-2 Apply First Aid Flexible Learning - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To update and review the knowledge and skills of participants in critical First Aid and components from the Senior First Aid Course.
FA-3 Basic Life Support - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To give the participants basic skills and knowledge to maintain life until the arrival of the ambulance or medical professionals.
FA-6 Caring for Kids - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To give participants the skills and knowledge needed to be competent in child/baby resuscitation and the management of first aid until medical aid arrives.
FA-7 Remote First Aid - St. John Ambulance, Australia Approved
To provide the first aider with knowledge and skills to survive first aid emergencies that may occur in remote areas. Upon successful completion of practical and theory assessment a certificate of competency is issued, valid for 3 years.
