IOSH Managing Safely

Aims

A course designed for line managers, team leaders, supervisors who are required under their organisations health and safety structure to manage health and safety in the workplace. This course will enable delegates to perform their roles in a proactive and competent manner. This course leads to an internationally recognised qualification. Lunch and Drinks provided.

Outcomes

Understand the legal requirements placed upon organizations by legislation.
Identifying relevant legislation and obtain guidance and advice on compliance.
Understand the principles of a safety management system
Understand the role of the organizations health and safety policy
Identify the role of risk management
How to perform risk assessments and select the appropriate control measures
Understand the role of proactive and reactive monitoring techniques
How to manage hazards in the workplace

Assessing risks
Controlling risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Identifying hazards
Investigating accidents and incidents
Measuring performance
Protecting our environment

Location and Duration

The duration of the course is 4 1/2-days. The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd., in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait or Kiulap.
