Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd, in Kuala Belait, has just received - after months of hard work - approval to conduct all defensive driving courses from 1st January 2006 to meet the Defensive Driving Course Specification EP2005-02161-SP-02 (Shell Global Standard).

Deputy Minister of Development attends Ceremony for NEBOSH and IOSH courses

The Special Presentation Ceremony took place on the 29th August to give out the certificates for both the NEBOSH and IOSH courses.

IOSH Approved Centre

Megamas Training Company has been approved as an IOSH Centre and will be conducting the 1-day Working Safely and the 4-day international Managing Safely courses in January 2006.

Recognition for contributing to BSP's safety performance

BSP hosted a thank you luncheon for Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd on 14 March this year for contributing to BSP's outstanding safety performance in 2005. The luncheon was also held in conjunction with Megamas achieving 16 years without any Loss Time Injuries (LTI).

Riverside jetty, lifeboat launch

The launching and tepung tawar ceremony for the lifeboat recently purchased by Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College (MKJB) and Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd's newly built jetty was held in Kuala Balai.The lifeboat was purchased by MKJB for $199,000 to facilitate a safety course called Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue.

Road tanker drivers complete driving programme

The first group of the new heavy fleet road tanker drivers for Brunei Shell Marketing were presented with certificates of training after completing a safe driving programme held at Megamas Training Company accordance with the Shell "Automobile Centre of Excellence".

Royal Brunei Airlines signs MOU with Megamas

Royal Brunei Airlines entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a joint co-operation with Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd. The signing of the MOU took place at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club in Berakas.
