A special event took place to present certificates to participants who past the 10th NEBOSH International General Certificate course held 30 June – 11 July 2008. Guest of Honour was Cikgu Alias Bin Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Principal of Jefri Bolkiah College of Engineering.

To-date, Megamas has delivered 11 courses. The course has become very popular throughout the Region, and the qualification is recognised by leading companies e.g. BSP, BSM as a minimum for individuals seeking employment in HSE.


This NEBOSH course is the beginning of a structured professional career route leading to TechIOSH, GradIOSH & CMIOSH. IOSH is the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and Megamas is an IOSH Centre.

The course was participated by personnel from various groups of companies and government departments throughout the country, Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd and the British Garrison.
