Celebration for 18 Years LTI Free

The Asset Director of Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Company Sdn Bhd, Tuan Hj Salleh Bostaman Bin Hj Zainal Abidin, has presented on the 18 March 2008 a plaque to Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd for achieving 18 years without Loss Time Injury (LTI). Tuan Hj Salleh Bostaman was the guest of honour at the event.

Throughout it's operation, Megamas have made many notable advances:

To date, Megamas has obtained twelve OPITO approvals for many training courses, including the Emergency Breathing System Training (EBS).
Over the years, Megamas has grown and expanded enabling them to be able to provide a broader range of training services.
Megamas was the first training provider in the Region to conduct NEBOSH International General Certificate courses, and IOSH courses.
Megamas is the only training provider in the Region to conduct Defensive Driving courses to meet the Shell Global Standards.
Megamas is the only training provider in the Region conducting both maritime and military training.

Megamas has developed into a Bruneian company that is an internationally recognised training centre, and, which has become the finest training provider in the region in terms of its facilities, equipment and capabilities; a company, that the nation can be proud of.

According to Hjh Khadijah Mohamed, Managing Director of Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd, “There are various factors which have been instrumental in achieving this record, most importantly the 100% commitment and dedication of all our staff in believing and demonstrating that safety comes first. Megamas has trained and developed its local staff, which today, 90% are local Bruneian citizens”.
