First IOSH Managing Safely Course in Bandar

The diverse backgrounds of the candidates made this an extremely enjoyable and interesting course with lively discussion and participation in the group exercises.  The candidates taking the class were from the Royal Brunei Airforce, BSM, BLNG, RBA as well as privately registered candidates who are seeking to move into new jobs in their company or to find new job opportunities. 



The course consists of eight modules:
  1. Introducing Managing Safely
  2. Assessing risks
  3. Controlling risks
  4. Understanding your responsibilities
  5. Identifying hazards
  6. Investigating accidents and incidents
  7. Measuring performance
  8. Protecting our environment

Pictured below are two candidates from the Royal Brunei Airforce (TUDB) undertaking a role play activity to teach the class about stress.  The role play was excellent and clearly showed the interaction between the stress factors in one's personal life and work life.



After the course the delegates complete a short exam and later undertake a practical activity in their workplace.  Feedback for the course was excellent.
