Memorandum of Understanding signed between Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd and Jefri Bolkiah Technical College

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd and Jefri Bolkiah Technical College as the first step in the offering of internationally accredited maritime courses STCW'95 in Brunei Darussalam at the Megamas Training Centre on 2 September 2002 for the government and private marine sector.

Attending the event was Dato Paduka Hj Awang Abdullah Bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Awang Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Communications,Dayang Khadijah Binti Hj C.A. Mohamed, Managing Director of Megamas and Awang Nazamsah Bin Hj Ibrahim, Acting Principal of the Jefri Bolkiah Technical College.

Participants for the courses are expected to be trainees from the Brunei Shell Tankers Sdn Bhd and workers employed by contractors for Brunei Shell on board ships and with all other shipping companies in the region
