Combined ISM & ISPS Code Internal Auditor (CIA)

Aims

Designed for those interested and required to understand and perform Internal Audits of Safety & Security Management Systems for ships based on the requirements of the ISM & ISPS Code. Additionally, this course will allow the participants to refresh their knowledge of the Codes and further develop a more practical approach to the interpretation and implementation of regulations from the ship’s perspective.

Outcomes

CSOs, SSOs, DPAs or Marine Superintendents/Executives within the shipping company who may be assigned to carry out internal audits for their ships.
Masters, Officers and Engineers having the responsibility of implementing the SMS & SSP requirements.
Various shipping related company personnel dealing with ships and intending to improve their understanding of the ISM & ISPS Code.

Location and Duration

The duration of the course is 3 1/2 days. The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Integrated safety training Centre in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait or any suitable location.
Including offshore and on board vessels

Preferably candidates having some basic knowledge of ship operations.
