Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)

Aims

This course provides knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). At the end of the course, the participants should have a general idea of how to carry out the day to day operational requirements of being a PFSO and in dealing with circumstances in the port in matters related to security.

Outcomes

Port related personnel undertaking the position of the PFSO in the Port Facility.
Shore-based security related staff or personnel intending to pursue a career in the port security business.
Marine related personnel wishing to understand and improve their knowledge of the responsibilities of the PFSO.

Location and Duration

The course is delivered at Megamas Training Company Integrated safety training Centre in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait or any suitable location.
Including offshore and on board vessels.

Pre-Requisite

Preferably candidates having some basic knowledge of port operations or with some security background.
