Participants would be trained in the particular hazards and properties of H2S, and appropriate emergency response actions to take should a H2S related incident arise.

The training includes the formation and behaviour of H2S as well as its unit measurement (ppm - parts-per-million), the occupational exposure limit to H2S and factors affecting individual susceptibility as well as training for the usage of personal detection and protection devices for H2S.

At the end of this course, a written assessment/ practical will be issued to participants to gauge their understanding and readiness. as well a practical assessment to don and operate escape breathing apparatus within a specific timeframe.
