Thirty-two participants undergoing an induction programme under the Department of Technical Education recently paid a visit to Megamas Sdn Bhd.
Upon arrival, the General Manager, Mohd Roger Ainsworth, welcomed and greeted the entourage followed by the company’s training officer delivering a short briefing on the company’s success, activities and ongoing programmes. The entourage also had the opportunity to tour several training rooms and saw a demonstration of life-saving operations at sea and learnt how to put out a fire.
Since its establishment, Megamas Sdn Bhd has collaborated with Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College in Kuala Belait where students currently taking their National Diplomas are sent to the company to enhance their skills and training.
The programme ended with a souvenir presentation from Mohd Roger to the participants and a tour to the Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College.
