MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd in Kuala Belait has recently received notification of winning an International Safety Award for 2012 from the British Safety Council.

This is an excellent achievement especially since Megamas has now achieved this prestigious award for the eight (8) times in 9 years since 2004.

This award by the British Safety Council was given for the contribution made by Megamas to improving the safety for all workers.

Incorporated in 1989, Megamas is now in its 23rd year.  It has always tried to deliver high quality training in a safe environment, and developed a strong Bruneisation policy.

The award was given to Megamas for many of its initiatives and achievements in 2012 relating to occupational health and safety, in particular, achieving “22 Years Loss Time Injury (LTI) Free” and “5 Years Total Recordable Cases (TRC) Free.

In line with the PLEDS scheme under the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), Megamas International Pte Ltd was recently incorporated and registered in Singapore.

Megamas Managing Director (Hjh Khadijah Mohamed) hopes this new venture will be the launching pad for new business ventures in the region.
