LOCAL firm Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd reached another landmark for being recently reaccredited by UK-based the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) for the delivery of quality driver training programmers.

Eight Bruneian Megamas instructors were re-certified after undergoing a comprehensive driving training programme and awarded their International Diploma in Advance Driving Instruction. The two-week programme involved on-road practical which includes safe driving attitude and behaviour, instructional driving, in-cab coaching, as well as evaluation and driving assessments.

The reaccreditation was conducted by an external driver verifier from ROSPA UK. A consultant and driving specialist from Drive Safe, Australia was also involved in the process.

The programme also included the verification of all training materials to ensure that they are delivered in line with international standards.

Megamas Training Company also stated that acquiring the prestigious accreditation is imperative in the firm’s business strategy as a premier HSE training provider and consultancy company, and its commitment in the development of Bruneian staff in line with the nation’s Local Business Development (LBD) framework.

Megamas is the only ROSPA Fleet Safety Accredited and Approved Centre in the region, alongside companies from the UK, the Middle East and Russia.
