As part of this program there are combined elements of practical and theory for both disciplines in order to train the students with skills in order to give them job opportunities in the energy industry . Prior to their work-placement, the trainees had the opportunity to work on “Project Amal” at Masjid Kampong Pandan, Kuala Belait. The activity was to replace lighting system in mosque which requires scaffolding structures from 4metres to 8metres in height.

This project was first envisaged as practical experience for the trainees in order for them to gain valuable practical work experience as well as exposing them to the actual working environment of their future employment. The voluntary nature of this charity work was planned by Megamas to develop the trainee’s spiritual and moral values in order to enforce their belief and desire to become valuable citizens of the country.

The Megamas team hopes that by providing EICF trainees with charitable projects that has both high practical and moral values, it will develop the competency of individual trainees as well as provide reinforcement of teamwork, collaboration and unity in the workplace prior to them being sent on work attachment at local companies.
