Megamas Training Company is pleased to announce the launch of a new NEBOSH qualification in Environmental Awareness at Work. Megamas is one of only 2 organisations in South East Asia to hold the accreditation to deliver this 1 day course which is aimed at anyone who needs a basic understanding of environmental issues in the workplace. The syllabus covers environmental management, waste management, EMS, sustainable development and impact risk assessments.

To complement this training, Megamas is also running the highly respected 2 week International Associate IEMA qualification at the end of March. Mohd Roger Abdullah (Megamas General Manager) said “This course is a top level Environmental qualification which is comparable to the Nebosh International General Certificate – only in an Environment field as opposed to a Health and Safety field”. “Our own employee Mr Mark van Kalles recently sat this course at the British Safety Council in the UK and achieved their highest ever result in the exam, scoring 104 points against an average of 88”.

“The Environmental agenda is moving, and there is a need for a new breed of Environmental professionals in Brunei. These two courses are a way by which anyone can gain the underpinning knowledge that can be used to improve the environmental performance of companies in Brunei and aboard.”
