Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd, based in Mumong and Kiulap, and a leading HSE training provider in S-E Asia is very pleased to announce the decision by the Board of Directors, and Management that Shilla Jeffery Lee Abdullah is to be trained to become an Instructor to deliver offshore internationally-recognised courses, including the OPITO TBOSIET and TFOET courses.
Shilla, a local Bruneian citizen, will be the first female offshore instructor to deliver these courses in the Region.
Shilla joined Megamas from the HSBC, Seria Branch, in October 2008 and has worked as a Course Co-ordinator for the Company.
However, in more recent times, Shilla has shown that she would like to diversify into other areas of the business, including training and the delivery of HSE and offshore courses.
The GM (Mohd Roger Ainsworth) has been very pleased with Shilla’s development over the years, and commented, “the Company is really impressed with her attitude and willingness to improve, Shilla is a smart girl, and we are delighted to give her an opportunity to further help her career development”.
Mohd Roger further commented that “today most of our HSE courses are delivered by local Bruneians to international standards, e.g. defensive driving, and TBOSIET courses are delivered 100% by local Bruneians, and it will be very good to have Shilla added to our offshore instructors, and she will be a real asset to all the participants, especially ladies that attend the courses.”
