This course is not only in accordance with approval from Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Company Sdn Bhd, but also has accreditation from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) in the UK.

Megamas with LEEA, UK, have developed the Forklift Truck training course in line with international standards so that along with BSP recognition, participants can now also enjoy an internationally recognised qualification.

The course was delivered to participants from Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd and SKSWood Sdn Bhd.

Abang Jaludin has also recently taken his training skills to Malaysia to deliver material handling courses, and so, is helping to show that Bruneians given the right opportunities are able to deliver courses to international standards throughout the region, and demonstrate, in line with the aspirations of the Nation, that local Bruneians can deliver and apply their skills in the international market.

Hjh Khadijah Mohamed (Megamas Managing Director) expressed her pleasure at the progress of Abang Jaludin over the past 2-3 years, highlighting that he had taken the opportunity to develop himself having been originally employed as a driver with the company.

Commenting, Hjh Khadijah pointed out, that Abang Jaludin is an excellent example of what can be achieved if everybody is working together with the right attitude, and she went on to add that “Megamas is very lucky to have such committed staff, because without good people a business cannot flourish”.
