MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd, based in Jalan Mumong / Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait recently celebrated 28 years since its incorporation on December 14, 1989.

Megamas, specialising in Health, Safety and Environment training, collected numerous awards and international recognition, including the first training provider worldwide to deliver the OPITO TBOSIET course in 2000, first training provider in Southeast Asia to conduct the NEBOSH IGC course in 2004, the Brunei SME Award for the Most Outstanding Medium Enterprise in 2012, Asean Winners in 2013 for the Employment category, and No 1 OPITO Approved Training Provider in the World in 2015 from 46 countries.

Megamas employs 90 per cent local staff, and according to Hajah Khadijah Mohamed (MD), “the health and safety of our employees, the local community and the environment is Megamas number one priority”.

In 2017, the company achieved ‘27 Years Lost Time Injury (LTI) Free’ safety performance, a record unequalled by any other training provider in Southeast Asia.
