MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd recently received two RoSPA Awards during RoSPA’s 60th anniversary celebrations held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in the United Kingdom.

Both awards were presented to Executive Advisor Mohd Roger by RoSPA Trustee Mary O’Mahony.

The first was the Silver RoSPA Award for Megamas, while the second – the RoSPA Guardian Angel Award – was specifically for Mohd Roger.

The Silver Award recognises Megamas outstanding HSE performance including ‘26 Years LTI Free’ safety performance, a record unequalled by any training provider in Southeast Asia.

The RoSPA Guardian Angel Award was presented to Mohd Roger for making a demonstrable difference in the world of safety and accident prevention through personal initiatives, diligence, enthusiasm and commitment.

For 60 years, RoSPA Awards scheme has been recognising and celebrating excellence in safety performance – longer than any other in the industry.

These internationally recognised awards have become the most sought after accolade by organisations from every sector, offering organisations the opportunity to prove their ongoing commitment to raising standards and to celebrate success.

Mohd Roger said, “It was a great pleasure to receive these awards for Megamas Training Company and in doing so, it adds to the long list of local and international prestigious safety awards received in recent years.

“These achievements are the recognition of the part played by all staff, over many years, and our commitment to the recruitment, training and development of local Bruneians; to date the company employs 90 per cent of locals.”

“We have also focused on gaining international recognition for all our courses so that participants receive a certificate of value which is recognised everywhere.”
