Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd, based in Mumong, Kuala Belait is conducting specially tailored training for concrete mixer drivers employed by Readymix in Brunei Darussalam.
The course focus is on improving safety and efficiency when operating heavy vehicles in a range of situations.
Topics covered include pre-trip vehicle inspections, fitness to drive, road law, system of vehicle control and dealing with other road users.
The training gives participants the opportunity to put the knowledge gained in the classroom into practice in a number of “On Road” coaching and evaluation sessions.
The number of heavy vehicles on the Brunei roads has increased in recent years, and, it is hoped that this training will help to improve the competency of the driver where necessary.
