MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd conducted a 1 Day Safety Awareness training to staff of PETRONAS CARIGALI BRUNEI LTD on Saturday, 10th November 2012. The session was held at Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club in Miri.

The training was delivered by training instructors from Megamas covering topics on Basic Office Safety, Stress, Basic First Aid, Basic Office Fire Fighting and Principle of Defensive Driving.

On a number of occasions Megamas has been invited to deliver talk on Health and Safety such as in Singapore, Thailand and India. Early this year, Megamas conducted Outreach Programme Safety Talk to all Technical Schools in Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Increasingly, employers are asking a higher level of competency in their HSE Advisors, calling for them to hold recognised qualifications as well as a wide range of technical expertise.

Megamas tries to impart learning, and according to their General Manager, Mohd Roger Ainsworth, “training is not about simply passing on information, it is about assisting people in their learning and understanding of the subject, why it is important, and how they (the participants) can make a difference”.
