Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd based in Mumong, Kuala Belait, has achieved on 14th March 2013 achieved “23 Years Loss Time Injury (LTI) Free” outstanding safety performance.

This means that in 23 years operation and over 100,000 participants trained at Megamas, nobody has been seriously injured, and equates to 6 Million man-hours LTI Free.

Recently, Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd who is an accreditated RoSPA Defensive Driving Centre has been commissioned by RoSPA to represent them in S-E Asia.

RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) is the leading UK driving body.

As a result, Mohd Roshawadin Kamaluddin went to Japan last week to deliver RoSPA Defensive Driving to Bureau Veritas in Yokohama and Kobe.

The course involves both practical and theory, highlighting the importance of why drivers make mistakes and bad decisions and how to correct them.

The practical teaches good driving practices which includes efficiency of using ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme).

This is a really prestigious achievement for Brunei whereby a local Bruneian company and Bruneian local citizen is going to teach driving skills to other countries in the Region.

Mohd Roshawadin is expected later this week to do similar training in Singapore and later this month in Vietnam.

Hjh Khadijah Mohamed (Megamas Managing Director) commented that “It shows that Bruneians can compete with everybody given the opportunities.”
