LOCAL firm Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd (Megamas) was recently engaged by an established international firm in the provision of technical services in Myanmar, a press release said.

Abang Jaludin bin Abang Mohd Noor, a local staff, was one of the four international rigging specialists deployed to the gas platform located in Kyaukpyu, a major town in western Myanmar.

Abang Jaludin, a Megamas Materials Handling Consultant and Instructor worked alongside 200 staff for about a month in Myanmar on both offshore and onshore projects.

“It was a great experience and opportunity to work alongside the three other rigging specialists from Australia and the UK in such a beautiful country,” said Abang Jaludin, who was recently awarded as Megamas Employee of the Month for his commitment and diligence.

According to Megamas, being able to participate in international projects is imperative to the firm’s business strategy as a premier HSE training provider and consultancy company, and its commitment in the development of Bruneian staff in line with the nation’s Local Business Development (LBD) framework.
