THE Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd based in Mumong/Kuala Balai, Kuala Belait recently presented Employee of the Month awards to three employees in recognition of their excellent contributions to the improvement of health and safety in the workplace.

According to Megamas’ Executive Advisor Mohd Roger, “Azrinna Kepli, Pengiran Mohd Azman bin Pengiran Tajuddin and Abang Jaluddin bin Abang Mohd Noor were all worthy winners.”

Azrinna joined Megamas in September 2014 from Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) where she was a stewardess, and has become a popular member of staff, teaching a wide range of HSE courses that include the IMS-5 (Competent Frontline Worksite Supervisor). She also recently passed the CIEH’s internationally recognised Food Hygiene course held in Singapore.

Pengiran Mohd Azman and Abang Jaluddin are both LEEA and API-approved instructors for material-handling courses.

They have not only spent many years delivering these courses to a very high standard in Brunei, but, in addition, deployed their services in a consultant role overseas specialising in rigging/slinging, as well as other courses, for example, in Myanmar.

Being able to participate in international projects is imperative to the firm’s business strategy as a premier HSE training provider and consultancy company, while its commitment to the development of Bruneian staff is in line with the nation’s Local Business Development (LBD) framework.
